The Gap We’re Filling
Immigration stories typically reach the public filtered through media outlets, politicians, or advocacy groups—rarely from immigrants themselves.
The Problem
Sharing your immigration story carries real risks: deportation, jeopardizing pending applications, employment discrimination, or family separation. Fear silences the very voices that need to be heard most.
When immigrant voices go unheard, misconceptions flourish and harmful policies persist. Communities make decisions based on stereotypes rather than reality. Politicians debate abstractions instead of addressing actual human needs. The absence of authentic immigrant narratives leaves a void that gets filled with fear, misinformation, and political rhetoric—perpetuating a broken system that hasn’t seen comprehensive reform in nearly four decades.
Our Solution
We’re changing that. Our anonymous platform gives immigrants the safety to share their truths without endangering their futures. But stories alone aren’t enough. We transform these narratives into actionable insights, guiding churches, communities, and policymakers toward meaningful reform. By protecting storytellers while amplifying their voices, we’re filling the gap between lived experiences and the change our immigration system desperately needs.
How Stories Create Real Change
Real stories that sparked movements and transformed communities
Churches v. Thornburgh
In the 1980s, churches housed asylum seekers who told their stories publicly, exposing the violence and persecution they fled.
Result: This movement won the pivotal American Baptist Churches v. Thornburgh case and pushed Congress to pass the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, helping 3 million people gain legal status.
Elvira Arellano
Elvira Arellano’s story of taking sanctuary to avoid separation from her American son captured hearts nationwide and sparked a movement across hundreds of churches.
Result: Her case led Cook County to pass ordinances refusing to cooperate with ICE detainers and influenced the creation of DACA policy.
Las Vegas High School
After educators at Global Community High School in Las Vegas shared stories of immigrant families’ struggles, the district created a Family Support Center.
Result: Family Support Center that now serves 250 newcomer students, becoming a national model for holistic immigrant education.
